CHENG PUAY KOON painted faces off TV when she was 10. Today, her illustrations feature in diverse local and international publications and have appeared on several best-selling book covers, including Conversations with Lee Kuan Yew.

 

Starting as a rookie journalist at The Straits Times and The New Paper, she moved on to design and art-direct the TODAY newspaper in its pioneer years during which she co-authored quirky No.1 best-seller The Difference Between Malaysians and Singaporeans with Ravi Veloo.

 

She also enjoys drawing for children and has illustrated over 80 picture books including the Abbie Rose and the Magic Suitcase series created with popular writer Neil Humphreys.
